Community of Practice: Focused Improvement

A community of practice is a group of people who share a passion/interest for something. They interact regularly to share learnings and improvement ideas; and to clarify terminology and best practices. A subject matter expert provides guidance and curates external material as well as internal examples. The COP for Focused Improvement is a knowledge area within Reliability Engineering dealing with the process of resolving non conformances with Asset Management including the identification and motivation of improvement projects. (root cause analysis, financial decision making).
