The first module gives a broad overview of a number of MWM cycles and learners gain an understanding of the principles of MWM as well as the benefits of a MWM cycle, which is functional and efficient.
The second module identifies the different Information systems which can be applied in asset management, and explains how they fit into the maintenance work management cycle.
The third module brings about an understanding of how to differentiate between sources of maintenance work while explaining the requirements and controlsto achieve quality within the work identification process. The module explores the differentiation between the different outputs of the work validation process and explains the purpose and factors which influence the validation process. It also looks at the distinguishing characteristics of immediate, urgent and planned work and how these impacts the work schedule. Finally learners will learn to identify, describe and assign appropriate codes when validating work.
The fourth module looks at the objectives and benefits ofefficient and effective work planning and scheduling. It will give you six strategies each for achieving those objectives, and teach you how to tell bad practices from good ones, with suggestions on how to improve them. You will need to download the slides to your computer before each contact session so that you have it on hand as a resource during the contact session.
